Throttle Play

I have a twist throttle, and I noticed that I have a lot of play.. I was wondering how I could fix this, I opened up the casing and saw the cable etc but wasn't sure how to remedy it..

start with the barrel adjuster. Where your cable goes into the grip, there should be a threaded adjuster, with a locking ring on it. Just thread the adjuster out to take up enough of the slack in the throttle cable, then thread the locking ring down to the grip housing, to lock the adjuster in place. There should be some play in the throttle though.

when you adjust that play, make sure you turn your bars stop to stop and make sure you're not tugging that cable. i had a two wheeler that turned normal to the right, but turned with a surprise to the left because I hadn't routed the cable properly.
