I just saw those as well and found them interesting. I wasn't able to find any additional information though. They had a picture on the website but I couldn't tell anything from it.

i shock is a huge name in the xr50s scene. my friends have them on their 50s and they seem to be a very nice product.

They are using Race Tech Suspension's analytical software and products to do their testing.

The so called Race Tech "Shot Clock" is an excellent tool. You hook it up to your shock and while your riding it records all kinds of data that you can upload to a computer and analyze what the shock is doing. It can measure velocities, soft and hard bottoms, the amount of wheel travel your using and etc.

As far as I know, I-shock and Race Tech are the only quad shock companies to use something like the shot clock.

A rider can only give you so much feedback about what the shock is doing and how to improve it, but the shot clock records and remembers every bump, jump and so on.

Race Tech Suspension is also starting to rebuild stock shocks for the trx and yfz. Both the I-shock and Race Tech systems will be by far the best rebuild you can buy for you stock shocks.

If you want to find out more about their software and what they do, go to www.racetech.com (http://www.racetech.com)

I believe Elka uses a data acquisition system for their R&D work as well...

Yes Elka does use the same data system. The I shocks are going to be a nice product. C&D Racing is excited to be working with them this year.

I know this is an old thread, I found it in a search for the i-shocks.

now this might be common knowledge, are the shocks 16" or the long travel 18"?
