wont start whats the deal i guess hondas dont always start lol

well guys new quad wont start put new plug in it and fresh gas wont start pulled the air filter cleaned it and still no good i know its getting gas to the bowl b/c i turned the screw out and still no good

so far i have

fresh gas
new plug
cleaned filter
checked all switches (key and the kill switch)
any ideas?

only things changed on it
hrc end cap and gear change

plz help

when tring to start it will it even backfire, check and make sure it is getting spark to that new plug

how cold is it where you are , mine would'nt start last week (about 15 degrees outside) , put a 110,000btu space heater in garage for about 25min and it fired up on the second kick , might not be your problem , but just something to think about.

yes spark to new plug and no wont even act like it wants to start and its like 45 50 degress out it should start im calling the dealer tom and its prolly going back i got extended warrenty

i have heard of many cases where plastic pieces from the gas tank go into the carb & block it...take apart your carb and check for little plastic pieces...i bet this is your problem...if you don't know how to do it then take it to your dealer & have them do it. you're still under you're 6 month warranty aren't you??? ;)

knowing my dealer it will take them a month or two to fix it tho

mine started tough the other day. it had been sitting for like two months and it was like 30 out. i had to pump the gas a lil bit and kick it like 20 times when i was about to give up it fired right up and ran perfect

I had alot of junk in my carb, just take the bowl off and clean it out real good.
