Back from Glamis

First of all I just want to say Thank you all for the advice. We hooked up with a guy from LA and he showed us "how" and where to ride. I think that if we hadn’t been escorted we would still be in the trailer getting up the guts to ride.
I am lost for words.
But I will say one thing there is no comparison between Silver Lake, Michigan and Glamis, California. They are two different animals.
We spent 5 whole days at Glamis and one day at Butter Cup. The 5200 miles round trip was well worth it. I did meet some locals that rent trailers and said we can ship our quads there and rent a trailer so we can fly next time.

I also ride at silver lake and went to glamis for five years in a row.I also drive 5000 miles to get there but worth every minute.Glamis is Glamis and is the biggest sandbox any kid would love.

No excuse girl! you live half the distance. I was just doing a maps and its 1700 miles from where I live to St. Anthony (Dunetopia).

I thought that after 3 days of being back to work I would be back to normal (like being productive) NOT. I just can't get my mind back it is still out at Glamis..... I'm sitting here thinking of my next big dune trip. I must snap out of it. Maybe a couple more trips to work in 6+ inches of snow will wake me up...

Sorry to say, now that you have been to Glamis, you will be thinking about it ALOT!!! :) Glamis has a way of getting to people.....good thing it's only a 3 hour drive for me, or I'd be making the trip across country ALOT! LOL!! :)

Lucky you! I would be there every weekend.
Glamis on the mind, That’s it! I was even talking about it with my daughter and she brought it up. She said it’s the scariest thing she’s done and wants to do it again. For me it’s white water rafting +5’s

did that trailer place give you any info about shipping a quad? like the name of a company or something?? Im planning my annual trip to Glamis for this Feb and need to get my quad out there, since i dont have the time to drive this year, but I do get to spend 2 weeks straight out there wooohoo
