There is a review on that stuff under the "Reviews" section. Maybe you can find out who posted it and drop them an email.
Hope this helps : )

I don't use the plastic renew, but I get as good of results, with the same amount of work. And it won't crack off like the plastic renew will.
I sand everything down just like with the plastic renew. Then instead off putting on the coating, I melt the plastic with a propane torch. Once it is done the plastic looks great. Then up keep is as easy as spraying the plastic with tire dressing.
Tell me how YOU think it looks.

You have to keep the flame moving all the time. I like to keep my other hand under the fender to tell when it is gettin too hot. It is pretty easy to see when you have got it hot enough because of the color of the plastic. I usually make three or four passes over each fender, doing one fender at a time.
Once it shines hot, it will haze slightly when it cools. That is okay, just wait for the plastic to cool down and wax it with car wax one time.
DO NOT rub hot plastic it will smear and you will ruin the plastic!

Wow that looks awesome soggyrider, thanx for all the great pics, I appreciate it very much!:D they were very helpful, thats a good idea with the torch. Thanx man! So the PC Renew stuff is like a coating? How long do you hold the flame in one spot as u move across the plastic?

Here a pic of my banshee with plastic renwed fenders. It made them whiter. My freind used plastic renew on his maier fenders for his 300ex and it made them shinny.

No broblem, yes the plastic renew is like a clear finish you put on with a foam brush. It looks good for a while but will eventually look like chit again and you will have to redo it. Same with the torch. I bought my bike used and the plastic looked like that when I got it. Now that it is smooth again I can just hit the scratches with a torch when it needs it.
You will just have to practice and keep the torch mocing while you heat the plastic. do a little bit at a time, let it cool and go over it again. if you get the plastic too hot it will ripple and sag. Just be careful and take your time. Use a PROPANE torch not an acetaline! and keep the flame about three inches off the plastic.
Good luck:)

Hey soggy do you think a blower will work to get the plastic hot enough?

You mean like a "heat gun"? I am not sure. Couldn't hurt to try.
I am sure a hair dryer wont be hot enough.
I heard that plastic re-new stuff gives your plastic a dull white tint to it , so i think its best used on white plastic.

It doesnt leave a white tint. Plastic renew works awsome. I used a power sander so it didnt take as long. My other freinds fenders on his 3 wheeler, looks brand new.

I am the guy who wrote the review... I am not an expert on atv plastic resroration but I think if you had a white tint when finished you must not have done something correctly. The plastic will look white before you apply the chemical due to the sanding but it should not look white after you are finished. However it will start to look white after a while as the coating wears off.
