PC Options

If I tore apart my quad and got it Powder Coated would it be worth it. I race XC and beat the shzt out of her, does the PC really hold up that much better or am I fighting a losing battle?

the guy that does my powder coat does a real nice job and I hear pappy does as well. I run a skid plate and don't have to much of a problem with it. Plus...it looks killer...I would say get it and at least give it a shot.

Powdercoating is much better than the standard frame paint. It is much stronger and holds up much better. Standard paint tends to be brittle and flakes off. Powdercoating is cooked on to the frame, it's thicker which makes it stronger. I would suggest getting it done. Just my .02 cents....
