Hello-- I have a 440ex and there is too much clearance between the piston and the cylinder. The 440 has an 89mm piston. Has anyone ever heard of someone going a little bigger? Where would I find a piston like a 89.1mm? Thanks

ive never used one, i always re-sleeve my cylinder and put another 89mm piston in, but they do make a little bit larger of a piston that you are talking about, i think colby from C&D was the one i heard mention that they had them, so call C&D and ask them what they can get for you.

There are 89.5 mm pistons. Think i have seen something on 89.25mm pistons too.

The largest you can run without boreing the cases is 89.5mm. I run an 89.5 ross piston I got from powroll. So far so good. Just make sure you give it plenty of warm up time. The sleeve gets kinda thin at that size.
