sarco or "twin lakes" as some people know it , is near seaside off rt 37 , real soft sand and real big. been there a few times but recently i heard its bad with cops, they will take your quad and fine you. (Like just about every other place in new jersey:rolleyes:
Thats what i was told anyway, so I stopped going there. Its ashame because that place and another 10 mins from there(gliden) are huge, I used to have more fun at gliden than i did when i went to silver lake dunes in michigan. Its too bad New Jersey has its head up its butt about riding areas.

The TC is anywhere from 430-520, depending on where you look. Try C&D. I've been to fort Mont once. All i can say about that place is mud. Its ok, theres not much to do but you can find a few jumps if you really look.

I havent really run into any cops at sarco. Although I ride with people that know the area well. Its pretty sick there. It is to bad NJ sucks for atv's.

Hey there Jersey450R you said the TC exhaust is anywhere from 420-550 depending on where you look. Any idea what it sounds like and where the power gains are? I really want a full exhaust for my 450R but I'm still stuck on which to get, a full exhaust from Curtis Sparks or TC, or get the Dr. D slip-on. I'm wanting to increase my top end and I heard the Sparks was the best for that but it's crazy loud and it takes away from the low end. And now I'm hearing about this TC exhaust and some people are saying it's better than the Sparks. I already have the HRC kit, just need a good exhaust that will allow me to gain more top end but not take away to much acceleration on my bottom end. Any good ideas?

well, if your looking for the best exhaust out there, the TC is up there in the rank. Two things...one, you have to drill a hole in your subframe because its a shorty pipe. and two, the tc is by far the loudest exhaust out there for any machine. If your looking for a great top end pipe, maybe look into the Yoshimura. The sparks is a great all around pipe, but is on the loud side also. Since you already have the hrc kit and that cam gives you loads of top end, i would try a lower end pipe, like HMF or Dr. D. to balance out your power. My buddy runs the tc pipe with the hrc cam and is scary fast, but i heard him saying he wanted more low end. His low end "Brapp" wasnt there. Its all up to you really. Do a search for exhaust on here, its been discussed many many times. hope this helped a little, dave

Hey thanks alot Jersey 450R for the info on the bike. I guess I'm going to go with the Dr.D slip-on because I've heard alot of good things about that pipe. I don't know if I'm going to be changing out pistons or doing any other motor mods to it in the future. So I will go with the Dr.D slip-on for now and worry about the other part when I get to it. Besides I've read that the Dr.D adds good bottom to mid and good top end also. So thanks for the help and nice riding.

I just put my Dr.D on yesterday. I took it out for a quick spin today and it feels pretty good. I'm just hoping the 185 main is the right one. :eek2:

BTW, I hit the throttle in second and it stood straight up:D
