i just bought an asv clutch and perch assembly and so far i just took of the parking brake. adn when i was removing the perch i noticed wires attached to it that lead into the starter and lights. what do i do with these wires. can i just leave them dangling?

Splice them together, that's the only way your quad will start. They are for the safety feature so your clutch has to be in to start it. When you spice them together, you will be able to start your quad without pulling in the clutch. So your quad will jump if you don't pull in the clutch.

No. It is simply completing the circuit as if the clutch is pulled in.
