View Full Version : cutting rev limiter wire?

this guy at my local shop said i should just the the wire to my limiter wen i put in my cam,but im not so sure it would work?
the rev limiter is built into the cdi circuitry.

isnt it the thing back by ur battery
the thing with fins by the battery is the voltage regulator/rectifier. don't cut any wires off that.

i thought that was the stator..

The stator is on the oposite side of the clutch...inside the motor...??

bingo, if you could just cut the rev limiter wire then people would of thoguht of that a LONGGGGGG time ago, before every one started buying hi rev boxes.
