I tried overinflating it, jumping on it while it was flat to try and move it, that's about it.

Do they usually put some kind of grease on the tire to seal it against the rim?

push it off of the rim all the way on the one side, soak it up with dish detergent and then inflate it, it it still doesnt seat, with it still over inflated, hit the tire on the tread where it isnt seated on the rim.

How much air have you put in it? Put about 35lbs in it and let it set for alittle while

Put it in front of a heater. A friend of mine had a problem like this. The cold weather caused the rubber to shrink around the rim. It might work.

ohhh... sorry read the first post wrong. I had to fill my holeshot MX's to 60psi for the beads to seat.

When Jeff@quadshop and I did mine, he put almost 70 PSI to get my Holeshot Xc to mount up to my front Hipers. You have to put alot in them sometimes.

yep. I took the valve stem core out so as soon as the bead seated I could let all the air out again real quick, that way I didn't risk messing up the tire any longer than I had to.
