Making a decision based on the above info would not be a smart thing to do. Sorry guys; but just because it is a Honda, that doesn't make it better. Find out the year of the 300 and prices for both....condition, bla, bla, bla!

On the other hand, 88 is kinda old, but it is not like the bike has changed since then.

The warrior feels like a 4x4 with a clutch.

The suspension, handling, weight, etc. isn't even comparable to a 300EX. I would never buy a Warrior over a 300EX!! And I ain't just saying that because I own a 300EX!! Just my opinion! ;):)

DO NOT make a mistake and get the warrior.Trust me on this one.I am very proud of the performance on my 300.Superior suspension compared to the warrior and handles so much more better than a 300.I can beat a warrior any day of the week.

I get around 6 1/2 feet before i bottom out.

My friend had an 87 warrior and i had my 300 and i would keep up w/ it any where we went then when it came to a short drag I would win (When we draged about 150FT) But the 300 has much better handeling & suspemsion. Turst me i tried to ride his and couldnt plus ur definitly going to have alot harder time to find a warrior in good shape while a 300 will be easy. PLus if you spend a little more on a 300 it will pay itself off in the long run. If you buy the warrior you will have to be workin on it more than you ride it. It was almost every ride that this kids warrior would have some sort of a probalem GET THE 300 it is a better all around quad

I think I will get the warrior he is wanting $1300.00 for it. It is a good quad I went and looked at it today, but the 300ex is not so good. don't get me wrong the 300 is a good quad but this one has seen better days.

Your wrong if it says honda on it. Its probably gonna be better. The warriors geometry doesnt impress me. It just doesnt feel right. You will have a lot more fun on a 300ex.

He just got a quad for $1,300. If it runs good and doesn't need work then I say he got a good deal.

hey i ride with a 88 warrior and a 98 300ex and i could choose the 300. The 300 will do wheelies while the warrior feels glued to the ground and hondas lengendary gearing really has the edge over the warrior. the warrior is more of a tank than anything, the 300 is much more manuverable lighter and just plain more fun.

warrior.......yea its true, honda can take more abuse, with all of there quads except warriors. I've had a warrior for 4 years and i have givin the bike much abuse...300ex are fast but no as fast and the warrior will go twice as many places and the 300

it was my 88 warrior he bought. it ran and looked good no cracks in the or any thing. the only reason i sold it wascause i get my car insurance bill in a few months and plus i'm gettin new warrior or probley a 400ex..

besides i would rather have the warrior it frame is just as good a 300ex's,,it is a lot stronger frame..plus the warrior is more powerand faster than a 300ex. the only thing a 300ex has on the warrior is hanlding. from my what i've done and seen the warrior can wheelie and race as good if not better than the 300ex.

some people say they warrior wont stay together or that they stay tore up all the time,,,all i have to say is they must have got a lemon..and there are judt as many 300ex lemons as there are warrior lemons

thats just my 2 cents :D

I had a warrior for 3 years beat the snot out of it and I didn't take very good care of it when I had it. It gave me no problems. I thought it was a good quad for the money and to learn on.

it,s a mean warrior and i think 300ex,s suck and i wouldn't waste my money when i counld get a more powerful warrior or 400exthe warrior i have seen it run and if the 300ex is like the 250x it suckx because i have beat a 250x with a 300 honda 4x4

The 300EX doesn't suck man! The 300EX is one of the best quads made.I am not saying that because I have one,its because its true,oh its true! The warrior doesn't have as good as a name for its self as the 300EX does. This web-site is called EX RIDERS,you shouldn't rag on an EX!

I am not trying to start anything, just giving you my opinion, and probly alot of other peoples. Not trying to be a smart-elik or anything like that.:)
