Installing a HMF full system on my 400ex I know I have to replace the main jet looking @ the carb and location of the main jet on cut sheet is it possible to change out main jet with carb in place???

You can leave the carb in place. Remove the crankcase breather hose, but put a towel down so you don't drop the jet in that little hole into your bottom end...:eek:

17mm wrench will remove the small cap on the bottom and you'll be able to actual bend over and see the end of the jet. Small flat head will allow you to pull it out. Should take about 5 minutes, remember to not over torque the brass jet..;) Good luck

I know of several people that went to the full system and had a hell of a time getting the setting correct..
