after market bars

i wanna switch to aftermarket bars like renthals or something. what do i do? bout the key n light? is there a bracket for this i can buy or please send me some pics or links or ideas please thx

i put the key ignition under the hood & put the red light n my handlebars with some black tape...

i just used my stock mounts for my new bars...I have a blackset of tag x5's for sale if your interested..

trailtech makes a really nice setup and it will relocate the key and temp light , go to www.trailtech.net for more info , the quality of there product and custermer service is second to none.

do they come with a clamp pad like pro tapers?

just find a convientent (sp) place in your plactic and drill two holes with a drill bit then just pop them in

I have tag bars, my key is wired so i dont need one and i have my over heating light wired under the hood ware i can see it when it comes on, looks sharp

Also carbon man puts a slot on there hoods to put the light and the key witch is really cool i have a carbon man hood but dont use the cut outs.

If you dont buy oversized bars, you will be able to use the stock piece.

the trailtech bars do not have a clamp pad , but come with a plastic piece that relocates the key and temp light.
