the next thing i am thinking of getting is a steering stem i am 6ft tall and the yfz is a compact quad so i figure the steering stem would give me a little more room. how do you like them did they help? and any suggestions? i have heard burgard had one for $200

Check out Hellbound Racing for a great price on the Burgards stems.

I bought the Houser +2 and use the CR low bend Tag Metal bars, all the stock cables and hoses work. I'm 6 feet tall and this works great for me XC racing.

You could get the Rox 2" risers and still use the stock stem and bars.

you should not worry about a stem and just concentrate on being able to keep up with me. just wait until the stock stem bends then it will be time to get another one.

+1 stem and CR high bend bars

This setup is about the same as stock. I have a rath/magics +1 stem and tag cr high bars. I would suggest getting ac pro pegs with the drop mount to lower the pegs. This setup with a bar riser works great for riders over 6 feet tall.

I bought my YFZ with the steering stem already installed, but it is an Ars/Fx steering stem (im not sure but I think its a +1) and I have cr high bend bars. This set-up is comfortable for me and I am a taller rider at 6' 2". Hope this helps.

I also have the Roll pegs and ac nerfs so Im not sure if the footpeg position is lower, but I like the way it is set up, it works good for my height.
