Does anyone on here have a 250x or 300ex with custom dual exhaust? I bought some pipes and silencers and want to build a dual setup for my 250x. What do you think it will do performance wise? Will it hurt anything?

Probably lose your low end power because of the substantial increase in exhaust flow through 2 pipes instead of only 1. Only benefit I see having duals is it would probably be quiet with some good silencers. You would probably be better off with a quality full system than duals. Now if you had a big bore kit/stroker combo than maybe you would benefit from duals.

My engine is bored 2 mm and stroked 4 mm. Wiseco 12:1 high compression piston. Head is ported and polished. The cam is advanced 4 degrees at the crank sprocket. And I made a couple oil flow modifications while I had it all apart. I'm still going to put on an XR ignition and jet my carb. Also I have holes in the airbox and a K&N air filter.

just go with a full system, forget the duals.

Well I started building the duals today. The system is going to Y about 4 inches out from the head then split rams horn style, and go down each side to the back.
