IMS Bumper Installed

Well I got my bumper in last week and put it on . It took a little effort cuz it wouldn't line up , so after about 20 minutes we finally got it to fit . I was a little disappointed with the finish of the bumper ... looks like it had been dragged on a concrete floor and there was marks all over it ( looks like someone slipped with a grinder) . I know it'll get dings and nicks all over it once I start riding ... but if this bumper would have been going on a show quad , I'd have sent it back .... especially after paying $165 Canadian for it . Anyways ... here's the new bling on my YFZ ...

Your YFZ looks better and better every time you post a pic. I like it. I'm gunna post up pictures of my R soon. If you still work at Royal, how much would it be for a Hinson clutch basket for the R?

Thanks for the comments guys . The blue Hipers with red and white wasn't really planned , but I had gotten a wikkid deal on Hipers that I couldn't pass up and they had blue rings . I like the colour scheme now .... everyone tells me I'm going for the American flag look . :p It was actually a nice day when I took the pics , but I was usuing a web cam to take them and with the white snow and white fenders , it blends in and makes it look all messed up .

Craig .. I'm not sure about the price of the Hinson basket ... I've been of work since my accident . :( Best thing to do , is give the nearest Royal a call ... or just call 1-800-265-2970 and they'll let you know the prices . Wish I could help you , but i got no catalogues at home . :grr:

The yfz is lookin good, ya need to get a set of bars next. I just picked up one of these IMS bumpers off of ebay for 61 bux brand new. Cant wait to get it and put it on.

I recently put on one my 400ex and had the same problems. Right out of the box it was scratched and I had to use some serious force to get mine to lign up.
I was also thinking of sending it back but after how long I had to wait for it I said F it. Anyway it looks sweet now, use some mothers on it and it'll shine nicely!!

same with me ,the bumper is wicked but poor finishing on the polishing looks like they cut a alot of corners..

I must have the odd one. it fit perfect..it just bolted on with a 5 minute install. the welds are nice and the finish is good. maybe I have the one not made on monday or friday.
