Is running my 300ex without the airbox safe? Will something happen if water or anything gets in there, also my bike has a HMF pipe and its jetted. Thanks

no a good idea. you will have more power but as soon as you hit some water your motor is fried. no air box is only good for the dunes where there is no water

this is what i do when i want some more airflow and its dry out...i just put the two clips in the back down....(clips that hold the airlid in place)...and then put the airlid on....and clip the fronts on....so it leaves a gap in the back....for more airflow....it works well and doesnt let water in..

Running your 300 with out an airbox is a bad idea. The best thing to do would be to buy and K&n airfilter then buy an outerwear

just modify your stock one.

This is the stock lid from a 400ex that I modded for more air but still leak free.
