Anyone using 450R shocks on a 400ex with +2 arms?

Just wondering, my buddy has a pair off his he said I could have. I figured I would see if anyone else is running 450r shocks with extended front arms on a 400. Thanks.

I tried a search and couldnt come up with anything on the subject.

450r shocks are valved for just that, a 450r. Putting them on a 400ex with +2 arms wont ride very nice unless you get them redone. The stroke and vlaving is all wrong for a 400ex, and could put more stress on your balljoints etc.

If you have +2 arms already, try em out and see how it is, but just keep in mind what I told you. Good Luck
