Jetting

I have a honda 426 11:1 piston, HMF slip-on,stg 2 cam, and the carb jetted with 42 pilot, 170 main, and stock clip position on the needle and when you push on the throttle after it has set and idled a while its like it cuts out for a second, by the way i live in Missouri

pilot is idle to 1/4 throttle....maybe pilot is too big or maybe turn mixture screw in a bit.

you really don't want to let that thing sit and idle unless you are letting it get warm for a minute after the initial startup. do you run an air box lid? how many turns out on the fuel screw are you?
