Anybody use a Battery Tender?

I do! I have the battery tender junior that I bought from Pep Boys. I leave it pluged in whenever I am not riding. Doesn't hurt the battery at all and I have never had a problem with start up. I highly recomend one.

Whats that, some sort of trickle charger?

Not really a trickle, but it monitors the battery and when the voltage drops it charges it up.

I use one one on both quads...it's nice,and comes with an adapter that you can zip tie to a more accessable location on the frame. All I do is plug them in when I get back from a ride and they are always ready to go...not necessary with a newer battery, but if I don't ride it for 2 or 3 weeks I plug them in.

Yeap,
Used one on my harley for years now.
Works great in the cold winter months.
