fmf or cobra??

whats better in performance?..fmf or cobra?...and yall please dont make smart remarks like "throw it away get a hmf" or "blow it up get a hmf"...im just asking s simple quesion

dude, im not bein a smartass but im tellin ya, your wasting your money buying a cabra and getting nothing in return, the FMF would be OK, but your still not getting much of anything out of it, HMF will always be my choice of pipe.:)

I would recommend saving your pennies and getting a quality engine builders exhaust. LRD, TC, Sparks. Possibly an HMF:blah:

well alli have is $100..and i was offered a cobra for $50..and a fmf for $75...

I have a FMF full system power core with a power bomb headder and love it. i had a yoshi before and that was pretty good also. i like HMF full systems also but a buddy bought a HMF full system and i really didn't want to copy so i went with fmf. but we went to the local dyno shop and had both of the quads put on and they both ran about the same for HPs i have a K&N he had a white brothers air filter that was about the only difference between out quads at the time besides the pipes.

DON'T GET A COBRA, they are very loud and offer not much more power. I have a spark arrester on mine and its not real loud, in the woods you have to listen for it. the fmf is't too quiet either, keep the stock exhaust and save for a real exhaust. By the way, I have a cobra pipe because, nobody offers a better alternative for a 86 200x trike.
