I got a nasty gumy carberator that needs some intense cleaning what can i use to get cleaned up iv'e tried a few things but it only helps very little i need somthin to clean it totaly.!

go to the auto parts store and buy a gallon of carb. parts cleaner. take your carb. apart and be sure to remove any plastic or rubber parts that may be on there( if you dont take these off they will be gone when you take the carb. back out of the cleaner). put all the parts in the cleaner and put the lid back on and let it soak in there for about a day or so, then take everything out and rinse it off with gas and the blow everything out with compressed air. put it back together right and you will be good to go.
just a warning, try not to get much off the carb. cleaner on you hands when you are messing with it cause it burns like a s.o.b.

mojoe2878 said it perfectly, use chem dip from an auto parts store, very little effort and nothing will egt it cleaner. but like he said no plastic parts at all, the chem dip will melt them as well as your skin.
