89 Clutch update

I have an 85 ATC 250R and would like to update the clutch to the easier pulling 89 style.
I have done a search on this site and others for the correct parts and or part #'s, I have emailed C & D Racing and they say that they have no listing for this... I went to the local Honda Dealer and all I got was the puppy dog look ... blank stare and head tilted to one side ... can anyone point me in the right direction?

But the appear to be sold out, any Honda shop should be able to get you these parts, even if they dont offer the "update kit"

You can get the kit from Service Honda, I have the part # out in the shop, if you need it let me know...

Any decent shop should know what you are talking about. I would also highy recommend getting it I love it, my cutch has never worked better.

yes only certain dealers know what the update kit consist of. some make update kits some HAVE NO CLUE. so you can either figure out the parts needed or find a kit.

kit is a 89 pressure plate, 89 push rod,89 lifter 89 thrust bearing and 89 washer(goes between the bearing and pressure plate)

I got the complete kit from Service Honda, the prevoiusly posted part # is correct, it prices for 51.00 and change....
