Is it worth the extra money to buy +3 a-arms and offset rims, or should I just buy +2?

+2 and +3 with of set rims would make it the samne width right? or the reason you want them, is that they make more travel??
does +3 with o.s. rims add more travel than +2's??

no. I would go w/ the +3's cause out set rims cause a lot of bumpsteer. And offset rims are also hard on your whole front end.

IMO, if your gonna get extended arms, go with a long travel setup if u can afford it.

Having had +3 without offset rims, I'd go +2 the next time around........just easier to turn and easier to steer......that's just my .02.
Long shock is what your actually getting from what they call "LT' arms. You get the same amount of travel out of both and if you know how to tune a shock they can both work the same. Obviouslly the more shaft velocity you have the better damping control you will get. +3 inch arms will have more wheel travel then +2 arms. The wheel off set or in set has nothing to do with travel. Nor does it effect bumpsteer.

bump steer IS afected by offset rims.
the +3 and 4/1 set up is day and night beta than +2 with stock offset this is because of leverage ratios

+3's with 4+1 rims is the same as +2's with 3+2 rims.
What kinda quad are you riding?
I run +4 a-arms with 3+2 rims.

im guessing you have a narrow frame, being the wide would push a lot in turns.

You would also be over 50inch with this set up which is no good if you are racing MX.
if u are not going to race MX dont worry about +3 jwith 4/1 just get the +2 with stock offset

I used to have +2+1 with 3:2 wheels. It was alright. I can't wait for my +3+1's and 4:1 rims, not sure If Im going with LT though.
Definatley go with +3+1's and 4: 1 wheels.
