id suggest using all trans/candy blue or all bluevein, they are distinctly different in the final shade and dont match if used in the combo you have suggested. when using bluevein it will be atleast 8 shades darker then translucent blue

as far as the colors, id do trans blue or bluevein frame, and the rest of the parts in silvervein. it would save you about $80 on the cost of the small parts

I have my a-arms done in Silvervein and it's a nice color, but it just hasn't held up. I think I like charcoal metallic the best now. Now my a-arms are not clear coated, so I'm not sure how that adds to the life of them, Pappy?

silvervein really should be clear coated if its to be used outside. it really depends on what type of damage your talking about....if its fading and turning black then clear would have helped, if its chipping or being wore off clear may have slowed down the process. all in all silvervein is some good stuff. lsr clear coats its silvervein and it looks great, but alot of other companies do not

How does the Charcoal metallic compare to the Silvervein as far as holding up and what not?
I am pretty sure my A-Arms and Stem were not clear coated. This is how I got them from Arens.
