new years in cali?

i was just sitting aorund and i got to thinking....you know how we (the east coast) watch the ball drop in time square NY? what do people in cali do? they are 4 hrs behind us and i dont see them having new years at 8. how does that work? do they have their own ball they drop? haha im so confused could someone shead some light on the situation here?

cali is three hours off and we get cheated out of the fun. we watch the ball drop on a time delay. so we watch yours at our midnight

well i knew it was some hours off i wasnt exactly sure. thanks for clearing that up for me though man! one more of my stupid questions answered by the good people at exriders!
