Not to butt in, but my 2002 Dakota with the 5.9 V8 only gets around 10.3 normal. How bad does that suck?

wow 10mpg..... i almost got a dakota too. Ended up getting a F150, that got about 18mpg with the v6 4.2 engine, 4x4, 8 foot bed.Got sick of paying for gas an went with a S10. Now i get like 25mpg. of course it has no balls and no power, but im also not pulling 12' trailers either. So its just fine for me and my 400 still fits in the bed
