Hi all!

My cousin and I had no problem removing the warning labels from our yamahas but when I tried to with my 450r, it didn't work exactly as planned. With the yamahas they came right off with the rivits removed. With the 450r, they seemed to be glued on aswell. WTF. I want those damn things off!

i have all the warning lables on mine removed (400ex) got all 4 rivets out then i think the lables were glued so i just got under it and pulled them off and now i have put a chrome piece where the lables were and it looks alot better

yeah, that sounds good and all but I'm not interested in putting anything in its place. I like the clean look of just plastic, how did it look after you took the label off? Did the glue come off nicely or is it not something you want to look at? Thanks

the glue still stays there on the plastic but you can remove it easily

I heard a little carb cleaner does the trick. What do you think I should do, let me know what you did.

I just pulled mine off my 250ex, i drilled out the rivits then took a flat head screw driver and poped them off then you can take some sort of label remover or glue remover and rub it on there but i just used gas worked good for me

Carb cleaner or gas will work just fine
