Yz/ex Oil Tank???????????

I DONT KNOW HOW TO POST A PIC BUT CAN SOMEBODY POST IT FOR ME??? BUT ANYWAY WHAT I WAS GONNA ASK IS IF ANYBODY HAS A OIL TANK LIKE THIS ON THERE YZ/EX AND WHERE DID THEY GET THE BOTTOM FITTING OF THAT TANK AT CAUSE IM HAVING TROUBLE FINDING OUT SO ANY HELP WOULD BE HELPFUL.....

I do but this quad isn't mine and also it has been parted out. If you want I can email you them so I don't have to waste thread space.

I didn't realize you were using the stock EX oil tank. I think it takes a 10mm size bolt so you need to go to a hardware store and get a bung for it. I'd still recommend the wet sump kit. Contact Exodus Cycles at http://www.exoduscycles.com about it.

Thats just a pic i have of that setup, i don't know what he has for his i thought maybe thats what he wanted to see so i posted a pic of another setup like that, he may have a different tank i dunno. Sorry for that, just tryin to help out.

im not using a stock 400ex oil tank... im using a custom one...

I got your picture through e-mail. That is the same oil tank my YZ had. It goes under the radiator between the front frame rails. It is a pain in the rear running the oil lines for it too! Just go to Jegs and get the AN fittings you need for it. Or your local drag race store should have them too. They will be an Anodized screw in fitting with a hose barb on the other side.

im lookin at a jegs book rite now and i was wondering if you had one with you and you could happen to look through it and give me the part number cause i dont know which fitting it is???

You need to go to a local hardware store and find out what size of bung you have first in your oil tank. Most likely on that tank it will be standard size and not metric.
