roll foot pegs?

i just bought a set of roll/ims foot pegs off ebay, for my 89 250r,the guy says i need to use the stock hardware to mount them.do i need to use the pin and the spring or do i just use a bolt. if i use a bolt are they going to flop around on me???

im not sure what you mean by the spring but ill try to help....

on my 300 they bolted up using the stock hardware...

idk if this help but i dont know much about the Rs

theres a spring the makes the peg return if it flips up like on a dirtbike.
