Would chroming my oil tank affect the heat dissapation on the motor? I have a UM tank and might get it chromed. NOt sure.

Aren't those U.M oil tanks made out of aluminum?

you can't actually chrome aluminum, why don't you just polish it or have someone polish it for you?

one character of chrome is that it does hold in heat. unfortunately

Just Polish that sucker. That way it won't effect the cooling and it should buff up real nice!!! I am planning on doing that to mine.
