G'day, I have recently bought a Nac's Racing Case Saver for my 400EX but it doesnt seem to fit for some reason..I'm starting to think they sent me the wrong case saver, might be for a 250R..could some one post a pic of an aftermarket case saver for the 400EX..this would be greatly appreciated, thanks

I have a red Nac's case saver on my EX... You remove the cover completely... You wont need it anymore, but save the bolts... If you are running the 15t (stock) size front sprocket it will be a tight fit. If you have a chain with a master link its easiest if you just take the chain apart and feed it around the sprocket AFTER you have already put the case saver on.

If it is the stock chain and you cant break it... Then what you need to do is to loosen the bolts on the swingarm and roll the carrier to the loosest position. Derail the chain from the rear and front too... Take the front sprocket off next. Put the sprocket in the chain off of the quad and put the case saver in the groove of the chain. Pull the chain, sprocket, and case saver all forward and slide the sprocket back on the shaft. Bolt it in place, bolt up the case saver, put your chain back on the rear and roll the carrier back until its tight again...
