Ive recently had a lot of electrical problems...and now this. The other day when i was tryin to get my 400 goin again, the starterjust made a whirring noise. Wheni took the left case off, i didnt see any problems/broke gears. when your lookin at it the starter motor shaft spins counter clockwise, which eventually turns the starter gear and flywheel clockwise. as far as i know, this is the right direction, right? ive heard something about a starter clutch. could that be it? This thing has got me stumped so any help is appreciated. thanks
