I've been shoping around too, and if you pay more then $6k OTD then you paid to much. I'm finding them from $5500 to $5900 before tax title....

The best price I could find for an 05 was in MO at Pro Cycle for $5,755 OTD. If you are close to them give them a call at 1-888-621-6664. They have an add on Ebay:D

thanks for the help so i dont get riped off especially by those set up fees that a bunch of crap they have to set it up to sell it so why charge for it. that would be like charging some one a seperate price for the motor you need it to run the quad either way.

At $5500.00 they are taking money out of there pocket to sell that quad.I have been working at a honda dealership for 26 years and at $5500.00 they keep selling them trx450r for that price they wont be in bussiness very long. What you all need to look for is good customer service and if you pay a little extra its worth the money.......Chris

CKASPER18......

You are right about the cust service......I had to wait at the dealership for 3-4 hours just for them to load the new 450....and we bought 2!
Customer service is non-existant at Southern Powersports, but, I saved over $1k by purchasing from them vs. local dealer:D :D

Yes that is a lot of money to save but if you took the price to your local dealer they most likely would work with you but custoner service is still worth something.Kinda like when you get your paycheck and you got shorted $20.00 you would complain because you deserve your money you earned no different when the owner of the bike shop is trying to make a living as well. Then your boss tells you that you took 3 craps that day and is only paying you for one. This is my opionion my mom and dad owned this shop for 45 years and we are the oldest honda dealership in wisconsin and will be for many years to come.Dad says it used to be fun selling bikes and quads but with all the dealers giving stuff away and loosing money the fun is gone.First off you should not have to give the best bikes and quads away for free you should be able to make money on them thats what its all about...Chris

Again, you're right....There is so much to be said for buying and working with your local dealer. From previous experience, my local shop is not easy to work with...they specialize in choppers and these custs get priority. The lowest they would go OTD was 6500....this was after i told them of the deal i was driving to get.
