I always wondered about POR15 color chrome it looks pretty sick.check it out at por15.com you may not see many pics but I think there is one so you can get an idea.

Anodizing will fade under high heat. powder coat is durable but, What kind of heat are you talking about.

im thinking powdercoat would crack after the metal heats up and expands, maybe im wrong. ya what kind of heat?

Was thinking the exhaust heat shield. I know it gets pretty hot sometimes :)

I have mine powdercoated red and its holding up great.
