I saw him a few years ago. He gave a "guest" sermon at the church where my daughter goes to school. Even tho' I'm not too religious (covered that in another post, will leave it alone), and it was inspiring to say the least. Being a diehard Packers fan and watching him play was one thing, hearing him in person was another. Just awesome! He will be SORELY missed.

oh my god, i hadnt heard this yet. This guy was my idol when i was younger. I wanted to be just like him. He was such a good, no nonsense style of a player. This is odd though, I had one other player that i really liked when i was younger, Derrick Thomas, who also happened to die tragicly young. R.I.P.

Reggie was a great player, and a great man. He did a lot for kids and families. I met him in person once, and he was a really awesome person. Its hard to find a sports player that really does care about their fans. He gave alot to the community, and he will be missed. RIP "minister of defense"

If every Pro sports player had the attitude of Reggie White the world would be a great place
