draining gas

How do I drain the gas...never done it before on my R....its been sittin for a while and i just got some VP U4:cool:

I pulled my whole tank off when I did it so I did not have to worry about getting gas everywhere.

you can unhook the hose at either the tank petcock or the carb and hold a jug up to it and turn thr gas on and let it all drain out, dont forget to switch it to reserve after the main part has drained to get all of it.
