Have any of you heard about putting a XR250R cdi box on the 400ex. Powroll says that it will give you a higher rpm. Is this true?? Anyone try it???

^^^yup, its the same as a something like a WB box, if you put it on you can pretty much forget about gettin it started when its cold outside. my advice is to get a rev box from GT thunder if you want to put a rev box on there, they are supposed to be better about starting in the cold.

There's no supposed to about it, they have NO problems starting in cold weather. I"ve ran 2 different ones and both start as good as the stocker...

The other great thing about the GT Thunder boxes, are that there are more than just one. Laz will get you one that works with your riding/racing application..
