there not sopopsed to go all the way through..do they not even go in at all?..and you have to drill another hole for the one bolt..one of them should line up. :)

most go through part of the peg and the nut goes inside it........or get a longer bolt

LOL...

I am not surprised. While I like AC parts, I have never seen any that line up or mount right from the factory... They seem to ALWAYS require modification...

My buddy got some ac pro pegs from his girlfriend for xmas we ran into the same thing. Ended up beating the tabs that the bolt goes through to the motor mount with a hammer then it went fine. AC almost always has fitment issues, But overall is a good product. I personally like the pro-armor's

Most of bolt of installation problems with AC comes from tightening up anything before having everybolt and nut attached first. I installed a nerfs on two Z400s in the same day, and I struggled with the first one and the second one was a cake walk and all I did was change my technic.

Also, You must get the IMS compatible AC Nerfs or they won't work without force. The box will say if they are IMS/Roll Peg Compatible or not.

Check out X-Factor / Gibson propeg nerfs. They are both the same nerfs. The quality is there, they fit proper with no tweaking, AND they have a stainless steel peg set up. AC pegs wear down quickly due to the fact they are made of aluminum. Why buy nerfs that dont fit proper:rolleyes:

i had my ac propegs for a little over a year. After spending 2 hours putting them on i was actually pleased. They don't wear down like everyone says but they will tear your boots up.

i got AC nerfs and bumper for my 02 blaster

the nerfs bolted up pretty much simple but they did take a few minutes to fit

i go to bolt up my bumper yesterday and the holes are completely off...my dad put a rag on the bumper and pryed it down with a steel tube bar...after that it bolted on simply...their products down allign correctly at first but with some work they bolt up and never move

I have AC nerfs on my quad and X-Factor nerfs on my wifes. I prefer the X-Factor. But both are very nice. And I had zero issues with either. However we had DG on a couple of older machines. Those sucked. Nothing lined up or fit right. And they were heavy as heck.

DG's new stuff is reallly nice, their old stuff is crap I agree. I personally would rather have the AC's have to be tweaked slightly to go on because IMO it makes for a tighter fit and stuff wont loosen up as easily. If the nerfs slide right on without any force then it just seems like they wont be as rigid.

i dunno dude. my ac's kept wollowing the hole that i drilled through the peg and the thing that the peg goes in. i loved the design but the fit was retarded.
