AC ProPegs

hey, does anyone know if you can take the heel gaurds off the AC propeg with heel guard combo? Thank you.

You would have to break the weld. I did not like mine that is why I sold mine.

X-factor makes nerfs without heel guards you can gett them from kandkatv.com

your gonna have to cut them off, it would be cheaper then the x-factor pro pegs to i think.

i looked at the xfactors. the pegs arents as big as the ac's, plus i like how the ac's mount up. I think i'm gonna go with ac propegs and see if i like the heelgaurds. But i know i'm gonna end up cutting them off. Theres a set on ebay that look really nice with the just the kick plate cut off.

My favorites are the ProArmor race peg nerfs, but for $270, they can keep em.

i believe the pegs on the xfactor are replaceable where the ac's cannot be be replaced....just something else to think about

My buddy has AC propegs on his Z400 and the heel guards are removable. I accidentally broke one of his heel guards, so he took them off, and he and I both hate it now. It was much more comforting jumping knowing that your foot wasn't going to be rubbing on the tire. Also DG makes a pretty sweet set of nerfs now with the race pegs built in.
