05 plastic on an 04?

I hope this picture reaches all of you out there who are thinkingabout swapping 04 for 05 plastics. It is just the lights that need extra work. The fenders bolt right up. This is a 04 with an 05 fender mounted.http://predator.bikepics.com/pics/honda-400ex-04-bikepics-262599.jpg

Thats all good but I want a full front clip not just a quarter panel..Good try though.. When you really get a set to fit shoot a full front pic..

it looks liek the whole front to me except the hood and light

did you get your hood and lights to fit on there correctly?
im about to get a set of '05 plastics and i wanted to know if the older hood will fit on there or if you have to get the '05 hood too.
i know the lights wont fit onto the '05 hood but im not really worried about that, just wanted to know if the older hood will match up to the '05 plastics.

The 05 plastic is two separate fenders. The fenders will bolt right up but you'll be missing a bracket that crosses the frame and both fenders are plastic riveted to it. In order to add this bracket you'll need to weld two small brackets to the frame to bolt this braket to the frame. Also the light won't bolt up . You'll need two brackets one for the bottom headlight assy. and one behind the light for moving all you wiring harnesses. You'll need to move you cpu box for the light to fit. You'll also need the plastic piece under the light because it stabilizes the front of the fenders. After all of this you'll need to buy a hood as it helps hold everything together as well also covers up everything. In all it's pretty complicated but worth it if your planning on keeping your bike.
