cooling system

ok ,my quad knowledge is limited on engines, so i was wondering if you guys could tell me how the 05 trx 400 is on cooling, like how long can you go before it overheats, and is a big difference from other cooling systems?

it's air/oil cooled. it runs hotter than liquid cooled quads. just dont let it sit and idle for too long, it needs that constant flow of air through it's cooling fins and oil cooler to survive. i havent had it over heat before and i ride on some tight *** slow steep trails for long periods of time.

if you want...a set of aftermarket airscoops,and a larger oil tank will greatly benefit slow rides that don't get to much airflow,the scoops will help a lil but the oil tank will lower the temperture almost 14 degrees
