300ex question

Im in the process of ordering a cdi,weisco 11.1 stock bore piston and a overall performance web cam thats what they list it as. I already have a full exhaust,jetted and k&n. Will I notice a big difference? and will I have to rejet?. But say I get the cdi first will I have to rejet or I will be Ok?

u shouldnt have to rejet with just the cdi box. all of thiose mods in conjunction with each other you will have to though. if at all you should get the piston, then the cam, then the cdi. that would be the best way to do it if you have a small budget. you should notice a big difference but if you plan on racing i would noit get the overall cam.

dude, if your going to be changing the piston out you might as well order an .080 over bore. make it a 316. for $50-100 its well worth it

If your gonna be putting money into ur motor you should just go all out and get a 330. I origanlly planned to those exact same mods you want to do. But I just ended up goin with a 330. I will let you know in a few days how the 330 performs. But I would just seggest doing that.

OK 1st off geesh people sounds like he already ordered his stuff LOL, anyway mine is bored .060 over w/ a stage 3 WEB cam,Curtis Sparks rev box, & I LOVE the difference it made!!! I just bought a stage 4 cam for it but not sure when I will put that inZ!! I am also running a 400 carb which also made a huge difference!!!!!!!!! I will say my son went out & BEAT a pumped up 330 last weekend @ the races :D :macho been trying all year to beat that damn quad & he finally did hehehe

Good luck w/ what you do, you will definetly like it better than stock :)

I think .80 over is like a 297, or sumthin close to that.

Yeah you have to remember its not actually a 300 its only 282!

yea 316?? wtf u smokin, lol, pass that doobie. it makes it a 298, but i'd say just do a .020 or so, the difference in over bores liek that isnt enough to waist all those overbores that u might need later. and yes u will notice a good difference, and i dont think you'd need to rejet with a cdi box, but im not quite sure

hey momma, is the stage 3 web cam the .335 grind? because i have that cam, and hardend rockers with hd valve springs and all that, that will be goin in my 300ex once i get another one
