Great pics, just what i was lookin for. How do they get such high clearence at the back, the stock rear shock doesnt raise the rear that much stock does it ?

Here is mine...Nothin special, FMF shorty pipe, jetted carb, and TAG bars/clamp kit. Coming soon: Sano Forks, Sano Swingarm, iShock rear shock, high rise seat and cover, and an 88cc sano big bore ..

BTW...the rear clearance is from longer swingarms and aftermarket rear shocks...you dont need it unless you plan on jumping alot....

the rear gets raised 1 inch by going to a +1 rear shock, the fronts you either go with a aftermarket fork assembly which u only really need if you race of stiffer springs and extended fork legs...the swingarm is only for more stability it doesnt affect the ride height...

a 50 will get boring if you ride alone and alll you do is ride your yard and do wheelies but if your riding bmx trails or hittin ramps or riding a track it never gets old, and 50s are dangerous dont think because its a kids bike its not, and the stock motor has adequate power, for freestyle you can run one basiclly stock forever but racing you will have to drop some big dollars to make it good

start off with a a bar kit and go from there

heres some pics of me and my cousin and some other kids we ride with and one of my 50

oh by the way dont get a sano bore kit, your wasting your money get a trail bikes kit, complete 88cc with head for four hundred and some bucks then start beating some crf 230s www.chronic50s.com

i go so bored with my 50 it was unreal... to make it fun u need to sink atleast 1500$ into the suspension, 500$ in the motor, and a few other things just to make it rideable...

the power stock is pathedic... lets put it this way... if ur over 150lbs and u try goin up a hill u may hit the bottom in 3rd... by the top ur in 1st gear pushing with ur feet...

they can be alot of fun thou once u get teh 88cc kit, big bars, taller seat, suspension and all the rest... my friends still have theirs and i love riding them... just didn't feel like puttin that amount of money into mine so i sold it...

They look like a blast, but I think I will stick to my quad. To much money to blow on something I know I will be tired of in a year. Just my $.02

1st part wrong...we all ride ares mostly stock so do most other 50 riders all you need is bars

2nd part im 245 pounds i can hit the bottom of a hill in 3rd... and go down to 1st and it pulls like no problem and with t he 72 kit it will comfortably pull me in 2nd....

3rd, they can be more fun with that stuff once you get better and go bigger and bigger because you can appreciate it more

i dont know ive had a stock xr 50 and my z and i rode both of them stock comfortably, we rode with a bunch of kids that said you need suspension to jump this ...it was so rough i blew my shock and broke my fork springs bla bla bla, come to find out they had no idea on how to build a landing....think of a 50 as a bmx bike with a motor....

im 245...i can jump one pretty big all stock cept bars so can anyone else but like i said they can get boring but it depends on what kind of riding you do, i never get bored with mine

I was looking at the sano webby, and wow, are they ever over priced on their mods.. only thing there that was a decent price was the bore kits, everything else like suspension and frames were way up in price, i wanted to buy one and pimp it out for bmx, but this aint gonna be cheap.

Any other company's that sell 50 mod's ? Sano is very nice, but real expensive.

i hate when people look at the price and call it over priced with no thought into what goes into building it.... and there bore kits are the only things that are overpriced.....and you can get some cheapo brands but there stuff is junk, all the companies are close in price.....

why would you pimp it out? for bmx style riding at the most you need bars, , a i shock sano fork leg kit and stiffer springs, trail bikes 88 kit and a frame eventually because the stock one will stretch....a 50 is going to get thrashed for sure dont put time and effort into looks.....

ya you can pound a stock one to death with just handy bars! Go out and buy 50Nuts. Those guys do insane stuff on stock 50s....

you get the heavy duty springs for the fornt with the extended fork legs and the i shock rear with a bbr big bar kit or whatevery bars you want you should only spned like 1700 on a 50 and you will be fine

you must be talking about riding wide open around a full size track as for just riding and jumping and stuff it doesnt matter who has what its fun

yeha thats true, 88s are too fast to hang with on any straight, but as far as freeriding with your freinds and just taking turns jumping stuff it doesnt really matter what you have, thats what we do most of the time

Um... so u dont think thre suspension os over priced ? you can buy quad suspension cheaper then lil 50 suspension... thats why i dont think its wroth what they are askin, id still buy it . Just think about this, they are asking $1000 US for front suspension, thats about $1700 Canadian... thats half as much as the bike is worth. Its a lil fiddy for christ sakes, over priced imo.

Im not bashing, i love there products, and if i get a fiddy ill prolly mod it with sano parts anyways. I just cant belive the prices for those little bikes, it doesnt cost them near as much to make those products, so dont tell me they arnt "over priced".

waht are you talking about? bombshells are 1000 lt elkas are 1000....i really dont se eyour point, just because there for a 50 doesnt mean its cheaper i mean wtf. bombshells come with a front hub and disc brake setup as well as triple clamps....so what your telling me if it costs them 200 bucks to make that swingarm and they sell it for 300 they should sell it for 150 because its for a lil fifty for christ sakes? companys still need to make moneys...thats why they sell stuff...beleive it or not i saw a guy up here on a lil fiddy for christ sakes go around an mx track faster than 99% of the quad c class...it m ight be over priced if you dont think its worth it or if you cant afford it but as much technology goes into a set of forks as a set of elkas etc....i really cant beleive you think because its for a 50 it doesnt cost much to build, price some chromoly that those 380 dollar frames are made out of...by the way are you guys aware lsr is building 50 frames...they are overpriced

You guys look at it all wrong. I have the perfect mini to mess around on I can do whatever with it. its a 2002 XR50, with a 88 big bore kit that came with a cylinder, piston, cam, carb, filter, and all for only 230, progressive front springs that costed 45 bux, which raises ride hight and keeps the front from bottoming, a Paoli rear shock that costed 100 and works AWSOME, never bottoms, Pro taper high ride bar kit that costed 200, SDG high seat that costed 80, michellin starcross tires were 70 for the set installed, and a rons performance clutch kit that costed 45 bux with a lifetime warrentee against slippage, so i have roughly 650-700 into it, and its perfectly ridable and will go and do whatever i want with it, its a blast to jump.

Lots of people go big on basically stock 50s, id say if your starting off get a barkit and a skidplate to protect that vulnerable motor, then ride it and go from there.
