well that wasn't exactly a stock 400EX but I'm not so sure i really like the way any of the aftermarket pipes sound :( But i would like more kick from me bike. I dont really wanna swallow the price of a 450R.

They are the best pipe ever i had one on my 400ex and it gained great and the sound is the best of any pipe ive heard. I hope they come out with one soon for my bike.

Is your HMF brushed or polished? I would like to see a polished if yours is not.

Mine is the regular brushed. I wanted a black one at first, but have mixed feelings after seeing it on one. I also was curious about the black chrome but the sales girl at HMF said she couldn't describe the color as it was a greenish purpleish blackish kinda.... So I said screw it and got the brushed cause aluminum looks good on anything. The poished looks nice but may tarnish, get scratchy. I think I seen a pic of one on here and it looked worn.

it changes color in different light i got the polished just cuz i could get it pcd for free but no matter what color its an amazing pipe.
