Running Methanol

I am in the process of converting my TRX to run on methanol. I have purchased a used ESR 40.5 MM Alky carb off of Ebay. I have not received it yet but I want to be prepared for when I do get it. Is anyone or has anyone out there ran their R on Alky? If so do you have any tips for a first timer? I am currenty running a ESR370, 40.5mm gas carb, ESR reedblock, TRX5 CenterMount pipe, and stock ignition with a Jansen coil. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Just make sure you know what you are getting into.

if u wanna do it right yur gunna need to watch yur timing, compression. and porting should b altered for alcy. most peeple build an engine up for 1 type of thing. trust me trying to convert sumthing usually brings up unexpected problems. im with the dude 1 up.
