MSN messenger help

Well the damn thing won't connect. It wouldn't connect even before I upgraded to the 7.0. I have to use a HTTP proxy for some filter my mom has on the net, but that never effected msn before. Anyone have any suggestions as to why it might not be connecting? I checked the service and it said it was working. BTW I cannot get to my hotmail account either. Can anyone give me some help:confused:

Mine does the same thing when i just click the lil sign in thing, so i went to the lil link below it that says sign in under diff user name or something like that and then typed my password in manually and it connects everytime like that.

I use MSN IM the most , but it pisses me off , it opens and closes 10 times a day no matter what the settings are, seems like it'll sit idle..untill I in the middle of a conversation:mad: does this to me everyday:confused: :ermm:

mine does that too. but when i changed my password it worked just fine. i have changed it like 5 times now at least b/c of that

I've used MSN Messenger for about 5 years now and have not needed to change my password or anything . It'll disconnect me once in a while , but works great now that I'm using MSN 7.0 BETA

Just give it time, it will work again after a bit, they might be doing some work to their servers. Or try restarting your computer, and make sure your firewall is not blocking the connection.

Im also using 7.0 beta, its a pos. I wish i never upgraded, should of waited till the final version was released. To many bugs still in the beta version.

lol I fixed this problem a long time ago. Deleted beta and downloaded the version before that:D
