mounted up a plow on my Bombardier Outlander 400 and about an hour later she was running hot. any ideas on how to keep her cool while pushing the frozen stuff?

i've never had a problem plowing with my old 350. did you get alot of snow packed in the radiator? i'd check and make sure its not plugged.

most plowing was done in low and with a winch.

the overheat was due to a clogged radiator. that's what i get for letting the GF clean her quad. also the fan sensor pooped, but fixed under warranty.

good to hear that it was a simple fix

just got back form dealer. turn out the regulator was over charging. it was a recall for the previous year, not ours, but our warranty covered it anyway.

By running hot do you mean the fan was coming on? Or did the temp light actually come on? I've plowed tonnes of snow with mine and no troubles ever. If the temp light was coming on take it in.....if it's just the fan and/or your idle fluctuates a bit keep on pushin'....
