38mm A/S carb Throttle cable?

I am in the process of rebuilding my 86 r and putting a 38mm A/S carb on it and don't know what cable to use with stock thumb throttle? Who makes one? and does anybody know the part number of it?

the stock honda throttle cable will only work if u modify it. if u dont hav a cable at all then u might as well buy the right one that will fit, i think its a motion pro cable, the dudes that said call nacs or baldwin is right on.

The part number I posted above is NOT the stock part number. It is a Honda cable from another quad which has been found to work with the 38 A/S carb and stock thumb throttle...

Just call Esr, or any other racing shop. They will give you the right motion pro cable you need.

yeah go for the proper cable, order up the motion pro one! Any aftermarket atv place should beable to get one. I got my from K&K.

I just bought the same carb and used the stock cable. All that I did was used a dremel and cut of the brass end on the cable. I tried that first insteed of buying another cable, but mine stock cable was in good shape
